OTTAWA, Dec. 30, 2016 /CNW/ - The food recall warning issued on December 16, 2016, has been reissued and corrected as a result of information identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) recall verification activities. It has been amended to correctly identify the UPC code for one of the affected products. The correction for this product is marked by an asterisk (*) below.
The Nutrition Club is recalling Lenny and Larry's The Complete Cookie brand chocolate chip cookies from the marketplace because they may contain milk which is not declared on the label. People with an allergy to milk should not consume the recalled products described below.

What you should do
Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

Background
This recall was triggered by a recall in another country. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.
During the CFIA's recall verification activities, it was discovered that some product remained available for sale at some retail locations. As such, CFIA advised the company to conduct its recall again.
The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing recalled product from the marketplace.
