Urgent! Ontario Red Alert! Urgent!

TORONTO, July 18, 2014 /CNW/ - THE TOWN OF TECUMSEH REQUESTED A "RED ALERT" FOR AN IMMEDIATE THREAT IN THE AREA.

Emergency Situation: A fire involving hazardous materials is currently burning at the Bonduelle Facility at Tecumseh Road and Lacasse Boulevard.

Recommended Actions:  Residents in the area bounded by County Road 22 to the south, St. Thomas Road to the north, Lesperance Road west to Manning Road to the east are to immediately evacuate the area.  Tecumseh Arena, 12021 McNorton Street, is available to host residents, as well as St. Joseph's School located on Clover and McHugh, Windsor.

This Red Alert broadcast request will end at 1200hrs, unless a further extension is requested.
