URGENT! ONTARIO RED ALERT! URGENT!
THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO HAS ISSUED A "RED ALERT" FOR A TORNADO WARNING FOR THE AREAS OF GREY COUNTY, BRUCE COUNTY, SOUTH BRUCE COUNTY AND HURON COUNTY
TORONTO, July 19 /CNW/ - Emergency Situation: There is a tornado warning in and around the areas of Goderich, Bluewater, Southern Huron County, Wingham, Blyth, Northern Huron County, and along the shore line from Point Clark to Grand Bend. Environment Canada has issued a Tornado Warning in this area. Storms are moving quickly to the east of this area.
Recommended Actions: Emergency Management Ontario recommends that persons in the area described as Goderich, Bluewater, Southern Huron County, Wingham, Blyth, Northern Huron County, and along the shore line from Point Clark to Grand Bend take IMMEDIATE shelter. Everyone in this area, including motorists and boaters, are required to go indoors now and seek shelter. People currently outside this area are advised not to enter this area until further notice. If it is safe to do so, pets and livestock should be removed quickly from outside and given stored feed and protected water. Do not call 911 for information about this emergency. Remain tuned to this station for further information and instructions.
