URGENT! ONTARIO RED ALERT! URGENT!
THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO HAS ISSUED A "RED ALERT" DUE TO A TORNADO WARNING IN UXBRIDGE - BEAVERTON - NORTHERN DURHAM REGION - LINDSAY - SOUTHERN KAWARTHA LAKES.

Emergency Situation: Environment Canada has issued a Tornado Warning in an area described as UXBRIDGE - BEAVERTON - NORTHERN DURHAM REGION - LINDSAY - SOUTHERN KAWARTHA LAKES.
Recommended Actions: Emergency Management Ontario recommends that persons in the area described above should closely monitor their local weather conditions and be prepared to take shelter IMMEDIATELY if threatening weather approaches. The best shelter is an enclosed, well-constructed building away from exterior walls and windows, preferably in a basement area if possible. People currently outside of the Red Alert area are advised not to enter this area until further notice. Do not call 911 for information about this emergency. Remain tuned to this station for updated weather information and further instructions.
This Red Alert broadcast request will be updated or ended by 1930, unless a further extension is required.
