URGENT PUBLIC NOTICE: Telephone service interrupted at Humber River Hospital - Keele Site Only

Media outlets in the Greater Toronto Area are asked to please pass along the following information to the general public

TORONTO, March 14, 2013 /CNW/ - A telephone service interruption in the community has severed incoming and outgoing landline telephone connections to Humber River Hospital's Keele site only. The hospital's Church St. and Finch Ave. sites are not affected.

The latest information from Bell indicates that the service to the hospital is expected to be restored by early Friday morning. Cell phone and email service is not affected, and patients may call out using their personal cell phones.

For urgent concerns, family members of Keele site inpatients may send messages only through 416 - 243 - 4103. Emergency telephone communications measures are in place to ensure patients continue to receive safe, comfortable care.
