The Government of Canada awards $230,000 in financial assistance to this business in Amqui, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent

Usinage R./G. specializes in manufacturing metal parts and repairing industrial machinery. To ensure its growth and to improve its productivity, it will receive a repayable contribution of $230,000 from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. With this financial assistance, the company will be able to grow its Amqui plant and acquire computer equipment.
This funding was announced today by Rémi Massé, Member of Parliament for Avignon–La Mitis–Matane–Matapédia and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development. The Government of Canada's assistance will help the company increase its production capacity and diversify its markets.
Founded in 1984, Usinage R./G. reinforces multi-function heads for forestry equipment. It also manufactures and repairs equipment and metal parts. Its clients include major contractors in the forestry sector in the Bas-Saint-Laurent.
