Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay media briefing to be held for Squamish
and Whistler
VANCOUVER, March 1 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will hold a media briefing on March 2nd related to the 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay celebration.
The briefing is intended to help media prepare to cover the event and include an overview of Days 5 & 6, March 7 and March 8, when the Paralympic Flame will visit Squamish and Whistler. It is critical for media planning to cover this event to attend the briefing.
Additional story ideas will be provided as well as details on how media can access torchbearers in advance of the celebration. A question and answer portion will follow.
Media accreditation to access the celebration will be issued immediately following the briefing, and will also be available at the celebration site approximately two hours before the Squamish and Whistler Paralympic Torch Relay Celebration begins.
