VANCOUVER, March 8 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will hold a media briefing on Tuesday March 9 related to the 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay celebration in Vancouver.
The media briefing is intended to help media prepare to cover each event and include an overview of Day 8 - March 10, Day 9 - March 11, and Day 10 - March 12 when the Paralympic Flame will visit Riley Park, UBC, and Vancouver for a 24-hour relay event. It is critical for media planning to cover these events to attend this media briefing.
Additional story ideas will be provided as well as details on how media can access torchbearers in advance of the celebrations. A question and answer portion will follow.
Media accreditation to access the celebrations will be issued immediately following the briefing, and will also be available at the celebration sites approximately two hours before each Paralympic Torch Relay Celebration begins.
