Vaughan accountant named CPA Ontario Fellow
Fellows recognized for their outstanding professional and community contributions
TORONTO, Oct. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario is proud to announce that Genevieve Grenier, FCPA, FCMA of Vaughan has been recognized as one of six new Fellows to CMA Ontario and of the Society of Certified Management Accountants of Canada.
The FCPA, FCMA designation is a prestigious, national honorary designation awarded to CPA, CMAs who, through their outstanding achievements including community leadership, bring distinction to the accounting profession and serve as a role model to others. FCPA, FCMAs are nominated by their peers, who have recognized their exemplary qualities and contributions.
A CMA since 1999, in her role as Vice-President Finance, Genevieve is a member of the senior leadership team at Noble Corporation, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC/hydronics, industrial/institutional, building maintenance, fire protection, and luxury plumbing products. She is responsible for providing input into the direction of the company, motivating and directing personnel, and developing/executing the corporate financial strategy, while overseeing a total 75 people in the finance, IT and business systems departments.
Genevieve was recently re-elected to the board of the French Catholic School Board – South Centre District and serves on the audit committee.
