CALGARY, May 6 /CNW/ - Velo Energy Inc. ("Velo" or "the Company") (TSX-V: VLO) has issued 721,694 Common Shares to Endeavour Financial Corporation ("the Lender") as per the loan agreement between the Company and the Lender announced on December 11, 2009. The Common Shares issued to the Lender represent a $167,000 fee that became due to the Lender as part of the $2 million bridge loan agreement between the Company and the Lender in December 2009. The maximum term of the loan is one year but the fee became payable when the loan was not re-paid by April 1, 2010. The number of shares was calculated using the weighted average price of the final five days of trading in March for the Company's shares.
