Veridian executive appointed to IHSA Board of Directors
AJAX, ON, Aug. 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Veridian Connections (Veridian) is pleased to announce that Mark Turney, the utility's Vice President of Operations, has been appointed to the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association's (IHSA) Board of Directors.
Mark, a former director of the Electrical & Utilities Safety Association (E&USA), a predecessor safety association to the IHSA, is looking forward to representing the utility sector on the Board. "Establishing a culture of safety, where everyone shares equally in the job of creating and promoting a workplace free of injury, is the foundation for a successful business. I'm looking forward to working alongside my Board colleagues, who are also committed to the elimination of all occupational illnesses and injuries in the workplace."
