Veridian launches Smartphone app for eBill and EZ Pay services
AJAX, ON, Aug. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Veridian customers can now use their Smartphones to view and pay their bills with the utility's new on-the-go app for electronic bill presentment (eBill) and one-time-payment (EZ Pay). Veridian launched the app following a growing demand from customers for more flexible bill payment options and a steady increase in Smartphone users. The free app is available for Apple® iPhone® and Android™ devices using keyword "Veridian".
"We believe this will bring a new level of value to our customers," says Rob Scarffe, Vice President, Customer Services & Information Technology. "The app is easy to use, and it's a powerful new tool that customers will find useful. Most people are looking for ways to manage their bills more efficiently and with less hassle these days, so it just made sense to develop this for our customers."
The new app can provide customers with secure and convenient account access to current and historical bills, payment history (eBill only) and system messages. Unique features of the app include the ability for users to contact Veridian's Customer Care Department by phone or email, as well as a Frequently Asked Questions section.
