Veteran Ottawa Public Affairs Professional Sean Webster joins StrategyCorp
Webster joins StrategyCorp's growing roster of public affairs, communications, and management consulting experts in Ottawa
OTTAWA, Feb. 1, 2017 /CNW/ - StrategyCorp is pleased to announce that senior government relations consultant Sean Webster has joined the firm as Vice President. Sean comes to StrategyCorp after more than 30 years of public affairs experience within both the private and government sectors.
"Sean is a public affairs veteran who will immediately play a key role in our expanding Ottawa office," said John Duffy, Principal at StrategyCorp. Previously, Sean served as the Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Enbridge, where he was responsible for the company's federal and provincial advocacy and government relations activities across Canada.
Sean has served in a number of increasingly senior positions in the Canadian pharmacy and pharmaceutical sector, including Vice President of Public Affairs for Shoppers Drug Mart, where he was responsible for directing the company's public affairs and community investment activities across Canada. He also served as Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Solvay Pharma Inc., where he managed corporate communications and legal affairs. Sean began his pharma career with Eli Lilly Canada Inc.

Sean holds an MBA from the Cass School of Business at City University in London, UK, and a Bachelor of Applied Arts from Ryerson University. He has served as a Board member for a number of organizations, including Providence Healthcare, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, and most recently, as Vice Chair of the Toronto's Exhibition Place.
