Veterans, supporters to commemorate one-year anniversary of Sydney Veterans Affairs office closure Français
Our veterans fought for us. Now it's our turn.
SYDNEY, NS, Jan. 27, 2015 /CNW/ - This gathering is meant to recognize the effects of the office closures on veterans and those who assist them with their care. It is also being held to highlight the need and desire for the re-opening of these offices.
A one-hour program is scheduled, including remarks by elected officials, remarks from an affected veteran, and an artistic presentation by local photographer, Charlie Morrison, featuring photographs of rallies in the past, and a discussion about an upcoming art installation featuring veterans.
