The technology firm is adding two account executives and one sales strategist to bolster its current sales team, led by Ryan Ladisa, Vice President of Sales. This increase in staffing coincides with a year-over-year surge of 206% in the number of video advertising impressions running through Videology's platform in Q3 2013.
"What has been a steady increase in video advertising dollars has turned into a sharp increase in business over the past several months," Ladisa said. "This increase in demand is due in part to an accelerating interest in video advertising by marketers as viewing continues to travel across devices, as well as to our expanding client base within the market. With these key additions to our team, we'll be well prepared to meet the growing needs of our clients as we head into the New Year."
Rory Gilliland, formerly of GameTV, and Michelle Mills, formerly of Olive Media, join the team as account executives. Sam Gottfried, formerly of Rogers Digital Media, has been named sales strategy manager.
Gilliland brings over eight years of broadcast-selling experience to Videology. Prior to his time at GameTV, Gilliland spent time with Alliance Atlantis, Canwest, and Shaw Media, where he worked on a number of key cross-channel integrations.
Mills joins Videology after having gained experience strategizing and managing concurrent campaigns at Olive. She also served as an account manager at the company, cultivating strong client partnerships.
Gottfried comes to Videology from Rogers Digital Media, bringing with him a strong mix of publisher and agency experience. Prior to working at Rogers, Gottfried was at MediaCom Canada working on the Warner Bros. team.
