MONTREAL, March 31, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Videotron Ltd. today announced the pricing of its new issuance of US$600 million aggregate principal amount of 5.125% Senior Notes due 2027. The new senior notes will be sold at par, will carry a coupon of 5.125% and will mature on April 15, 2027. Videotron intends to use the proceeds of this offering to redeem and retire the entire outstanding amount of 6⅞% Senior Notes due 2021 (the 2021 Notes) on or around May 1, 2017 pursuant to a notice of redemption transmitted pursuant to the indenture governing the 2021 Notes, to repay drawings under its revolving credit facilities and to pay transaction fees and expenses. Strong demand allowed Videotron to price the issuance at the low end of price talk.
