VisionTV votes for She's the Mayor: network greenlights new 13-part
comedy-drama from Toronto's Hungry Eyes
She's the Mayor tells the story of a sixty-something political neophyte who unexpectedly wins a local election and must rely on a combination of instinct, guts and dumb luck to navigate the rocks and shoals of city politics.
VisionTV has given the green light for Hungry Eyes to produce 13 half-hours, said Mark Prasuhn, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Content Officer for the network's parent company S-VOX.

She's the Mayor was chosen from among the 280 submissions that VisionTV received in response to a recent call for dramedy series proposals. The network invited projects that would reflect Canada's cultural diversity and appeal to VisionTV's core demographic of female-skewing viewers aged 50-plus.
