Visitors are eating up the Entertainment District
TORONTO, July 15, 2014 /CNW/ - All visitors eat. A fact that is embraced by an innovative culinary strategy from Toronto Entertainment District Business Improvement Area (TOED BIA) by their newly formed partnership with Canada's largest food tour and culinary experience operator, Culinary Adventure Co. (CAC).
This summer TOED BIA and CAC have joined forces to allow visitors to eat their way through the Toronto Entertainment District Business Improvement Area (TOED BIA). Two (2) unique culinary experiences have been created for 2014, the Entertainment District Food Tour and Craft Beer + Eats Adventure. These new CAC culinary experiences are served up every Thursday and Saturday, through to October 2014.
ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT FOOD TOUR
This weekday food tour kicks off from Richmond + Duncan every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in The District. The 3-hour walking tour will have guests tasting hand-made international comfort food, savoury soups; eating at and meeting some of Toronto's most iconic restaurateurs; learning about the dynamic history of the District; popping into some well-known hotspots; and capping it all off with a hip sweet treat.
Tickets are $75 per person and are designed for all ages.

CRAFT BEER + EATS ADVENTURE
This weekly Saturday culinary adventure commences at 4:00 p.m. and exclusively features pairings of Ontario's best local Craft Beers to some of The District's most credible edibles. This 4-hour journey will take guests to Toronto's most iconic local brewery, a pub with the most craft beers on tap in the country ---- and local hot spots. Beer tastings, food pairings and tasting notes are made available at each stop. The tour pours into over 4 establishments, all thriving with local and independent Craft Brewers and incredible eats until it winds up the experience at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $150 per person, for those 19 and over.
