Vista Projects Named a Best Small & Medium Employer for 2013

Becomes only Calgary-based company to make Canada's top-50 list four years in a row

CALGARY, Dec. 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Vista Projects Limited (Vista), a privately owned, technical engineering firm based in Calgary, Alberta, is pleased to be named today amongst the 50 Best Small and Medium Employers (BSME) in Canada for 2013.

Now in its 8th year, the BSME study is published annually in PROFIT Magazine. The 2013 recognition marks the fourth consecutive year Vista has been named to the top-50 list. Having made the list of best employers each year it has participated in the BSME study, Vista is the only Calgary-based company as well as the only oil & gas business to be recognized four years running.

Making the BSME top-50 list is a very detailed and competitive process. This national awards program recognizes top employers with between 50 and 399 employees.

The rankings are primarily determined by using the results from the anonymous Employee Opinion Surveys. The evaluation process also includes the assessment of organizational practices and perspectives from the leadership team. This year, more than 200 organizations across Canada participated in the study.
