Chips as product contains milk ingredients

BRAMPTON, ON, June 23 /CNW/ - Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) is warning the public not to consume President's Choice(R) Louisiana Hot Sauce Thick Cut Dipping Chips because it contains milk ingredients.

The affected product, President's Choice Louisiana Hot Sauce Thick Cut Dipping Chips is sold in a 275g package and has a UPC number of 0 60383 99282 8 and a code date on package 2010 JL 12. The product contains a milk ingredient, which is not identified on the packaging.

The product is sold at various Loblaw stores: corporate, franchise and affiliated independents. Specifically:

The affected product described above may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk. There have been no reported injuries or illness associated with the consumption of this product.

All potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves.
