Volunteering Builds Strong and Connected Communities
Imagine if businesses and non-profits worked together to support volunteerism?
TORONTO, May 25, 2016 /CNW/ - Volunteer Canada and RBC Foundation present, In Good Company, the second community building forum for businesses and non-profits. Leaders from different sectors and regions will come together to explore ways to strengthen business-community engagement and employer-supported volunteering (ESV).
With one third of Canadian volunteers already receiving support from their employers, In Good Company is an opportunity for participants to share best practices and discover new ways to grow, encourage and approach volunteering. Engaging speakers will lead discussions on hot topics including: employer-supported volunteering, engaging multi-generational workforces, group volunteering, disaster response and ESV, skills-based and pro bono volunteering and evaluating impact.
RBC Foundation believes in the power of communities and the individuals who live in them. Thanks to their generous funding, Volunteer Canada is able to present this two-day forum in Toronto to help promote volunteering.
Volunteer Canada also recognizes the following sponsors of In Good Company: Volinspire, Manulife, PSI Print Solutions, Tim Horton Children's Foundation, Volunteer Attract, Ramp Communications and BMS Group Inc. Their support helps to bring business and community leaders together to build stronger and more connected communities.
