Swedish Brand Reports Nineteenth Consecutive Months of Year-Over-Year Growth
RICHMOND HILL, ON, May 2, 2017 /CNW/ - Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reported sales of 637 units in April 2017 compared to 604 sales in April 2016, representing an increase of 5.5%. This marks the nineteenth consecutive months of year-over-year sales growth for the brand.
Year to date, Volvo Canada has sold a total of 1908 vehicles in 2017 compared to 1862 vehicles sold year to date in 2016 representing an increase of 2.5%.
"Here in Canada, Volvo Cars had another strong month as we enter the spring selling season," said Alexander Lvovich, Managing Director, Volvo Car Canada Ltd. "With the launch of the all-new V90 & V90 Cross Country we saw a continued passion for Volvo estates as illustrated in this month's sales numbers. Nearly one quarter of April sales were a result of these stylish and versatile new additions to the lineup, as well as competitive offers on the current generation V60 and V60 Cross Country."
Additionally, Volvo Canada reported another strong CPO sales month, with 161units sold in April 2017. Year to date, Volvo Canada reports 650 sales in 2017 compared to 588 in 2016; this represents an increase of 10.5%.
