Vortex Mobile Appoints Former Nokia Exec, Kamar Shah, as Managing Director
- Industry Veteran, Shah joins leading Canadian start up
Vortex Mobile currently provides marketing and technology solutions that activate brand communications across the mobile channel, with clients such as Labatt's, Rogers, Dell, Scotiabank and Publicis Modem.
Shah has solidified mobile services and strategy for some of the world's biggest brands, working with industry giants such as Universal, Sony, F1 and Viacom properties. He is also a regular speaker and supporter at Stanford, MEF, 3GSM and CTIA.
Shah comes to Vortex with more than 15 years experience in mobile services, most recently as the Global Head of Industry Marketing at Nokia. Previous roles include Head of Mobile Games, Digital Advertising and Sponsorship, where he launched some of the first mobile services in
