Ag Retailers competing for share of over $60,000 in community funding
WINNIPEG, Jan. 10, 2019 /CNW/ - Voting has officially opened for ADAMA's #ThankARetailer contest. Participants can now vote online for their favourite regional ag retails to help them win $15,000 toward a community initiative of their choice!
Now in its third year, ADAMA's annual #ThankARetailer community contest pays homage to ag retailers that support Canada's rural communities. A winner will be selected in each of the four regions: Alberta/BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Eastern/Atlantic Canada.
"The nomination period is closed and voting is now underway in our 3rd annual #ThankARetailer contest," said Jodi Starodub, Demand Creation Manager with ADAMA Canada. "We encourage the public to rally around their local retailers and support initiatives that will have a lasting and meaningful impact in their communities."
From January 10 to February 13, members of the public can participate online to earn points for the retailer of their choice. Voting participants will be contacted weekly via email with different activities to complete in order to earn points. Voters will also have the chance to earn bonus points for their retailer through various mediums, including social media, attendance at industry events and more.
Regional voting closes on Feb. 13, 2018 and is open to all Canadian residents. Winning ag retailers will be announced shortly after the points are tabulated.
