TORONTO, Sept. 23, 2015 /CNW/ - Corus Entertainment's W Network announced today four additional women who will be featured in the highly-anticipated Season 2 of the docu-series Hockey Wives. The new wives include Angela Price, wife of Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price; Paige Getzlaf, wife of Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf; Taylor Winnik, wife of Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Daniel Winnik and Ashley Booth, wife of free agent David Booth. They join previously announced wives Keshia Chanté, Rhianna Weaver, Kodette LaBarbera, Tiffany Parros, Noureen DeWulf, Maripier Morin and Martine Forget. A W Network original series, produced by Bristow Global Media Inc. (BGM), Hockey Wives Season 2 premieres Wednesday, October 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on W Network.

The Hockey Wives are back with a brand new game. Some of their husbands are gunning for the Stanley Cup, while others are letting their six packs slide as they head out on their yachts for the summer. But they can't kick back for long. Free Agency is just around the corner when shocking trades and contract surprises can rock the league – who will be offered a contract and who will be left waiting for the call?
This season on Hockey Wives the ladies behind some of hockey's biggest stars bring their compelling stories to the screen. There are a lot of changes in store for the families – surprising trades, nuptials, new contracts, new babies, difficult moves to new countries, painful goodbyes, injury and heartbreak. Life moves quickly when married to the game, but these ladies lace up their skates and stick-handle their lives through yet another grueling hockey season.

Married to Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price
Originally from Tri-Cities, Washington, Angela met Canadian-born Carey Price long before he was MVP of the League when they were both teenagers and he was playing in town. Angela has dedicated herself to the couples' efforts with the Breakfast Club of Canada, and launching her own lifestyle blog By Angela, chronicling their life both during the season in Montreal and in the offseason in Kelowna, BC. Carey has represented Canada at various tournaments internationally, including winning a gold medal for Team Canada in Sochi. Carey is very much a leader for the Montreal Canadiens, and the Montreal hockey community is lucky to have someone like Angela who is heavily involved in leading activities for the wives and other charitable initiatives.

Married to Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf
As wife of Anaheim Ducks Captain Ryan Getzlaf, Paige Getzlaf presides over the rest of the Lady Ducks, organizing events, baby showers and parties for all the women to get together. Paige and Ryan were a case of opposites when they met-- he was a small town Saskatchewan boy and she was a SoCal girl with a bubbly personality. Now that she's had her three babies, and is moving "back to the beach" where she feels happiest, she is ready to be a mom-trepreneur and start her own jewelry line that has a mommy and me angle. In the world of hockey, Ryan is a star, with a Stanley Cup Championship, 2 Olympic gold medals for Team Canada, and multiple All-Star appearances amongst his accolades. With Paige however, he's met his match. When she walks into the room, everyone notices!

Married to Toronto Maple Leafs centre Daniel Winnik
As a freelance photographer and producer, Taylor was quickly building up an impressive list of clients including Visa in booming Silicon Valley, before she met and fell in love with Canadian-born centre, Daniel Winnik. Last year was a whirlwind for the couple after he left the Anaheim Ducks in her native California to the Toronto Maple Leafs, where she discovered she was unable to work. They were not in Toronto for more than half of the season when he was traded to Philadelphia, before becoming a Free Agent on July 1st. In midst of all of this, Daniel proposed and they began to plan their summer Napa Valley wedding, before learning they would be returning back to Toronto for the 2014-15 hockey season. Now that she and Daniel are settled, Taylor is determined to get herself a work permit so she can break into the Toronto market.

Married to free agent David Booth
Growing up on a farm in rural Tennessee, Ashley didn't know the first thing about hockey. An accomplished beauty queen, holding the Miss Teen Tennessee USA and Miss Tennessee USA titles, as well as placing first runner up in Miss USA, 2011. She was focusing on her blossoming modelling career after graduating college with a journalism degree, when David Booth started trying to flirt with her on Twitter. After ignoring him for months, she finally agreed to go on a date with him. He took her up in his plane to see the sunset over Chicago, and the rest as they say is history. After studying Fashion Merchandising, Rhianna Weaver was building a career in visual and store design for major retailers when she met her now husband Canadian-born, NHL Free agent, Mike Weaver. Swept up in the hockey world that had them jetsetting to cities across North America, Rhianna switched gears to focus on raising a family, and coordinating special projects with an emphasis on fashion through team foundations, such as the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. This year will mark her return to work in the fashion industry as she joins Montreal-based clothing retailer Bestseller, freelancing in marketing, PR and special projects coordination.

Married to Philadelphia Flyers goalie Jason LaBarbera
Kodette is married to Philadelphia Flyers goal tender Jason LaBarbera from Burnaby, BC, and together they have two sons, Ryder and Easton. Kodette took on the role as an autism activist and advocate for awareness, after the couple received the diagnosis their eldest son Ryder had autism. One of his challenges is he has trouble with change, so last year they made the difficult decision to split the family up during the hockey season to maintain stability - Jason playing in California, while Kodette stayed in Calgary with the kids. While the separation was difficult, their hard work paid off and as a result of Ryder's progress, this upcoming season Kodette and the boys will be able to join Jason in Philadelphia. They will still spend their summers in Calgary. She was integral in starting Love for Lokomotiv, in support of the families affected by the plane crash carrying coaches and players of Russia's KHL. Kodette has received a Linking Sports Community Leadership Award for her charitable endeavors.
