Wager closing time at 10:30 p.m. - Starting on July 13, lottery fans will have more time in the evening on draw dates to buy their tickets Français
MONTRÉAL, June 22, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Starting on July 13, 2015, consumers will have more time in the evening on draw dates to try their luck at lotteries. Previously set at 9:00 p.m. (EDT), wager closing time will be pushed back by 90 minutes to 10:30 p.m. (EDT).
The Interprovincial Lottery Corporation's (ILC) five members, including Loto-Québec, decided to push back the deadline for players to purchase their Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max tickets on draw dates. In the interest of consistency, Loto-Québec will apply the new wager closing time to all its draw lotteries. Naturally, the new schedule will also apply to online purchases. This change will provide Quebecers with more flexibility for buying tickets in the evening on draw dates.
Broadcast of results
Tickets and draw results may be checked on Loto-Québec's web site at lotoquebec.com/loteries and the Lotteries mobile application, at any of 8,500 retailers throughout Québec, on self-serve ticket checkers or the crawler at the bottom of the screen on the LCN television network. In addition, Loto-Québec will ensure the public is informed of this change by posting the new wager closing time at all points of service.
