Walmart Canada drops Christmas toy prices earlier than ever
Stores to offer select brand-name toys reduced to
MISSISSAUGA, ON,
Research shows that Canadians are concerned about the economy, but don't want to compromise when it comes to gift giving or entertaining over the holiday season. While 54 per cent of Canadians say they are more worried about the economy this year than last, 81 per cent say that they plan to spend the same amount on gifts for their children as last year. Many shoppers plan to buy items on sale (74 per cent) to help stay on budget, and many expect to spread the expense of their holiday shopping over a longer period of time to avoid large post-Christmas bills.
