Walmart Canada Drops Record Number of Prices for the 2009 Holiday Season
MISSISSAUGA, ON,
Over 18,000 prices are expected to be adjusted downward in November alone, delivering on Walmart Canada's commitment to help Canadians save money and live better. These record price reductions are expected to save Canadians millions of dollars by year-end in every department, and represent over 20% more price reductions than November of last year.
"We know this has been a tough year for Canadians, so we have made every effort to drop our prices and help Canadians make their dollars go farther this holiday season," said David Cheesewright, President and CEO of Walmart
Canadians will also find exclusive items at their local Walmart this holiday season, including the popular Star Wars Millennium Falcon from Lego, and the children's DVD Merry
