Walmart expands grocery pick up to more stores in the Greater Hamilton Area

Four Hamilton-area Supercentres now offer the popular service

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 25, 2016 /CNW/ - Shop online, book a time, pick it up: Walmart Canada announced today the expansion of its convenient, time-saving grocery pick up service to its stores in the Greater Hamilton Area. The service provides customers with even more choices as to how and when they shop and it's fast and easy.

"We're always looking to provide our customers with the best, most convenient options to shop: in-store, online or through the new Walmart mobile app," said Daryl Porter, vice president, omni-channel operations e-commerce at Walmart Canada.  "We want to make every day easier for busy families. To order groceries for pick up, just follow the simple steps:

1. Shop online or via the app: The easy-to-use interface allows customers to navigate Walmart's expansive product selection quickly and easily. A running tally of your grocery bill remains clearly visible to keep budgets in check. When you're done, simply pay by credit card.
2. Select a pick up time slot: Choose your favourite store nearby that offers grocery pick up and select a time that fits your schedule. To find your nearest store and its amenities, visit http://www.walmart.ca/en/store-finder.
3. Pick up: Simply arrive at the store during the two-hour window and park in a designated grocery pick up spot. Call the number listed clearly on the sign and your groceries will be brought and loaded into your car for you within minutes. If something isn't right, it will be replaced or immediately refunded to your credit card.
