CALGARY, Aug. 3, 2017 /CNW/ - Ernst & Young Inc., in its capacity as Court-appointed monitor (the "Monitor") of Walton International Group Inc. ("WIGI") along with other entities (collectively, the "Walton CCAA Entities"), is seeking offers for the sale of certain industrial lands located in Calgary, Alberta, known as the Point Trotter Industrial Lands ("Point Trotter") pursuant to a Stalking Horse Sales Process ("SSP") approved by the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta on July 28, 2017.
On July 25, 2017, WIGI entered into an Agreement of Purchase and Sale with the City of Calgary for the sale of the Point Trotter lands ("Stalking Horse APA"). The SSP and the Stalking Horse APA provide that WIGI may seek offers in respect of the Point Trotter lands on terms that are superior to those set out in the Stalking Horse APA.
A Confidential Information Memorandum ("CIM") has been prepared by the Monitor and the Walton CCAA Entities and is available to those parties that have expressed a wish to participate in the SSP and have delivered to the Monitor a non-disclosure agreement ("NDA") in a form acceptable to the Monitor and the Walton CCAA Entities. Additional information on this opportunity, including a copy of the SSP, a downloadable version of the NDA, and a downloadable version of the Stalking Horse APA can be found at the Monitor's restructuring document centre at www.ey.com/ca/wigi.
The Bid deadline for final, binding offers is 12:00 PM (Calgary time) on August 18, 2017.
