Weather forces clinic cancellations in Southern Ontario
Blood donors encouraged to re-book their appointments to replenish national inventory
TORONTO, Feb. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - Due to inclement weather in certain regions of Southern Ontario Canadian Blood Services has cancelled a number of blood donor clinics.
Today's clinic cancellations include:
Burlington Blood Donor Clinic
1250 Brant Street, Burlington, ON
8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Hamilton Convention Centre
1 Summers Lane, Hamilton, ON
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
University of Guelph – Ridgetown Campus
120 Main Street, Ridgetown, ON
2:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Midland Mountainview Mall
9226 County Road 93, Midland, ON
2:00 – 7:00 p.m.
County of Simcoe Bloodmobile
1110 Highway 26, Midhurst, ON
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The remainder of blood donor clinics across the province remain open. Canadian Blood Services is encouraging affected donors to re-book their appointments, and all other eligible donors to considering booking an appointment today to help replenish and maintain the national blood inventory.
