WEConnect International conference in Montreal

MONTREAL, Sept 19, 2014 /CNW/ - On September 30 and October 1, WEConnect International in Canada will bring together over 200 people: women entrepreneurs and corporate directors from across the country to Montreal for its annual conference.

"WEConnect International has been working in Canada since 2008, and we were eager to bring the conference to Montreal this year," said Astrid Pregel, Executive Director of WEConnect International in Canada. Over the course of the two-day event, attendees will also learn how to grow their companies and network with representatives from corporations, including BDC, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, D&B, Desjardins, Fasken Martineau, IBM, Merck, Nelly De Vuyst, the Royal Bank of Canada, and Walmart.

WEConnect International is a corporate driven global non-profit organization that facilitates sustainable economic growth by increasing opportunities for women-owned businesses to succeed in global value chains.
