Cultural festivals from every part of the world
For its 14th edition, this cornerstone event of summer in Montréal, will be playing host to 12 festivals, including two new ones: île Maurice en fête and the Festival culturel du dragon de Jade. During the four days of the event, visitors will be able to stroll from one stage to another for a one-of-a-kind trip around the world, featuring music, dance and a range of culinary discoveries.

Week-ends du monde also has a wide array of interactive activities to offer, including the Fiesta Latina Météomédia, percussion instrument workshops and a beauty caravan. There is also a program specially designed for families, including a variety of shows for children, hip-hop lessons, wax-hand workshops, and much more, to the great joy of tiny tots.
Head out on a discovery of new flavours
Week-ends du monde is also the best place to discover the World in a few bites. Start your day by treating your taste buds at Place des Saveurs TV5, where culinary delights, both local and international, are on the menu. Then continue your food discoveries on the site of each of the cultural communities, where you can indulge in a typical meal of the respective countries.
With everything from Salvadoran pupusas to Mediterranean grills and the unique and spicy flavours of Mexico, Week-ends du monde is the special place to enjoy an unmatched fine-food experience.
The crowd gathers for the biggest sporting event of the year
Much to the pleasure of sports fans, the World Cup of Soccer final will be shown on a giant screen on July 15. Exclusively for the occasion, the gates will open at 10 a.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to get all of the communities together to celebrate the biggest sporting event of the year.
