Welch LLP & WelchGroup Consulting introduce Mergers & Acquisitions practice

OTTAWA, Feb. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - Welch LLP & WelchGroup Consulting are pleased to introduce a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice to augment our current advisory services practice. We would like to welcome Stephan May, MBA, who has joined WelchGroup as Managing Director for the practice. Stephan brings a wealth of experience in M&A, debt capital, private equity, advisory and restructuring services.

The M&A practice will offer a wide range of services including buy-side/sell-side services, corporate financing, restructuring and partnerships. "I saw a void in the marketplace for mid-market businesses," says Stephan May. "As the baby boomers get ready to retire, succession planning is more important than ever before. I saw a big opportunity to provide this service at Welch and help these companies to maximize their success."

Prior to WelchGroup Consulting, Stephan May has worked with numerous companies to help them grow through acquisition, as well as through corporate finance, management buy-outs or strategic growth strategies.
