Well-trained runners for the Rock 'n' Roll Oasis Montreal Marathon thanks to The Running Clinic™ Français
MONTREAL, May 15, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Rock 'n' Roll Oasis Montreal Marathon and The Running Clinic unveiled the new running training plans for the 2015 event, today. The Running Clinic™, a key resource in terms of race training and preparation, is the Marathon's latest partner. Its training programs, adapted to all levels and to each of the Marathon races, are free and are now available online. "Racing is definitely all the better when one feels prepared, and it's important to be trained properly and at one's level," said Dominique Arsenault, spokesperson for the Marathon.
The Running Clinic™ is involved in all aspects of the race, under the direction of Blaise Dubois, a former consultant with the Canadian national track and field team and a renowned physiotherapist. He specializes in injury prevention, and has been a speaker at the Expo-Marathon since 2014. "Moving and running are a guarantee of longevity and health. Running is the simplest, cheapest and most efficient exercise activity there is. With the proper instructions, risk of injury is minimal and you'll get so much pleasure out of it!" he said.
For the 25th edition of the Marathon, organizers are expecting a record number of registrations for all its races. "The pleasure and safety of participants are critical to the success of the event, which is why we are offering free tools such as training plans to allow everyone to properly prepare," added Ms. Arsenault.
