Wellington West In-House Lawyer Wins Third Straight National Curling Title at
Scotties Tournament of Hearts

WINNIPEG , Feb. 8 /CNW/ - Wellington West Holdings Inc., a privately held, employee-owned financial services firm, congratulates colleague Jennifer Jones and Team Canada members Cathy Overton-Clapham, Jill Officer and Dawn Askin , for winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts yesterday in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, battling back from a 6-3 deficit in the sixth end, to grab victory with a hit for one in the eleventh end.

This victory marks Jones' third straight Canadian women's curling championship win, thus putting her in the esteemed ranks of only two other female skips to accomplish such a feat. Jones also held a national title in 2005 and was the 2008 Women's World Curling Champion.

"Winning three in a row to now be ranked among the great skips, Colleen Jones and Vera Pezer, it feels amazing," said Ms. Jones . "My team and I are so proud to again hold the Team Canada title and to represent our country at the world championships in March."

In her life away from the rink, Jennifer acts as in-house lawyer for Wellington West Holdings, Inc. When competing for the world title at the Ford World Women's Curling Championship in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, March 20th to 28th, Jennifer will be supported by her colleague at Wellington West, Jerrod Schafer , the mayor of Swift Current.
