Western Pacific Begins Detailed Magnetic Survey
VANCOUVER, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - Western Pacific Resources Corp. (WRP - TSXV) is pleased to report that it has commenced a detailed aeromagnetic survey that will be flown by EDCON-PRJ, Inc. out of Denver, Colorado.
The survey will be flown with a Bell 206B Jet Ranger helicopter on a grid of 50 meters east/west, 200 meters north/south, at a drape of 50 meter AGL sensor height which will result in a total of 1,842 line kilometers (see flown area on www.westernpacificresources.com)
"Surface sampling, mapping and a local ground magnetics survey have indentified the potential importance of intrusives in the emplacement of mineralization at Mineral Gulch", says Eric Saderholm, President. "This new, detailed survey will better define potential drill targets and help us better understand the geology of the project area."
The survey will take 4-5 days to complete (weather depending) and the results of this survey will be reported and placed on the website once it has been received.
