Airline makes inaugural flight between Toronto and the heart of Jamaica today
CALGARY, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced the launch of new, non-stop service between Toronto and Kingston, Jamaica. The inaugural flight departs Toronto Pearson International Airport at 9 a.m. EDT today.
"We're excited to offer service to Jamaica's capital city," said John MacLeod, WestJet Vice-President, Network Management and Alliances. "Whether they are looking to connect with friends and family or eager to experience the area's magnificent views, inspired cuisine or reggae sounds, we are pleased to be the airline to bring them to Kingston."
WestJet will fly between Toronto and Kingston three times per week: each Monday, Friday and Sunday. WestJet's location at Person's terminal three provides for easy connections to major Canadian cities, ideal for guests making connections on to the airline's domestic network.

WestJet flies non-stop from Toronto to some of the most beautiful sun destinations, including Montego Bay, San Juan, Cancun, Holguin, Varadero, Nassau, Cozumel, Miami, Tampa, Turks and Caicos, and St. Maarten.
Kingston is the first of five new destinations the airline is launching as part of its 2012 summer schedule.
