Westshore Terminals Income Fund - Q3 distribution announcement

VANCOUVER , Sept. 15 /CNW/ - Westshore Terminals Income Fund (TSX: WTE.UN) (the "Fund") announced today that a cash distribution of $23,760,005 (representing $0.32 per trust unit) will be paid on or before October 15 , 2009 to unitholders on record at September 30, 2009 as compared to $38,610,008 (representing $0.52 per trust unit) for the same period in 2008. For unitholder income tax purposes, the distribution is comprised of 100% income.

For the third quarter of 2009, Westshore anticipates that its tonnage throughput will be approximately 5.4 million tonnes as compared to 5.2 million tonnes for the same period in 2008. Tonnage throughput to September 30, 2009 is anticipated to be approximately 15.0 million tonnes compared to 15.8 million tonnes over the same period in 2008.

Based on estimates provided periodically to Westshore by its customers, Westshore anticipates that total throughput for 2009 should be between 20 and 21 million tonnes, as compared to 21.1 million tonnes in 2008.
