What's open and closed at the city of Montréal over the Victoria/Patriotes

MONTREAL, May 20 /CNW Telbec/ - Several Montréal municipal facilities will be open over the holiday period, while others will be operating on reduced schedules or closed on May 24.
Most municipal offices will be closed on Monday, May 24, 2010, including borough and Accès-Montréal offices as well as local service points.
Garbage and recycling collections in the boroughs -------------------------------------------------
As a rule, household garbage and recycling collections will take place following regular schedules.
Exception - green waste collection
Green waste collection in the Saint-Laurent borough, Sector 4, is postponed until Tuesday, May 25.
Exception - bulky item collection
Bulky items will not be picked up in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie in areas where regular pickup is on Monday.
Sports and cultural facilities ------------------------------
Arenas, swimming pools, sports and recreation centres, libraries and cultural centres also follow varied schedules set by their respective boroughs. Citizens are asked to contact personnel at these facilities to check on days and times of operation or call 311.
The complexe sportif Claude-Robillard will be closed. The outdoor tennis courts will be open. Information: 514 872-6900.

The Biodôme (4777, avenue Pierre-De Coubertin) will be open on Monday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information: 514 868-3000.
