MONTRÉAL, May 20, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - A number of Montréal facilities will remain open on Victoria Day, while others will have a specific schedule.
Most city offices will be closed on Monday, May 23, 2016, including all borough and Accès Montréal offices as well as points of service.
Household garbage, recycling and bulky item pickup
Household garbage, bulky item, recycling, food and green waste, and dead leaf pickups will take place in the boroughs according to regular schedule. Information: ville.montreal.qc.ca/collectes.
Ecocentres
All ecocentres will be open according to regular summer schedule, 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, please consult the Environment section at www.ville.montreal.qc.ca
Sports and cultural facilities
Arenas, swimming pools, sports centres, libraries and cultural centres will follow different schedules depending on the borough. Residents are asked to contact those facilities.
The complexe sportif Claude-Robillard will be closed on Monday, May 23, except for the outdoor tennis courts. Information: 514 872-6900.
Space for Life
The facilities will be open as follows:
Botanical Garden: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Biodôme: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Insectarium: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Parking
Please note that parking pay stations and meters remain operational on Victoria Day and that motorists also must obey parking signs.
