Whistler Blackcomb Awarded WorkSafeBC Certificate of Recognition
Occupational Health and Safety Program Recognized for Exceeding Industry Requirements
WHISTLER, BC, Feb. 9, 2012 /CNW/ - Whistler Blackcomb Holdings Inc. (TSX: WB) (the "Corporation") today reported that Whistler Blackcomb received a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from the WorkSafeBC Partners in Injury and Disability Prevention Program for having an effective safety management system and injury management/return-to-work program.
The Certificate of Recognition program recognizes British Columbia employers who go beyond the legal requirements of the Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation by rewarding them with a rebate on their annual WorkSafeBC premiums.

Working with go2, BC's tourism human resource association and the industry Certifying Partner for the COR program, Whistler Blackcomb fulfilled the program requirements and earned the COR certificate after a phased audit in August and December 2011.
