Founded in 2005 by Marc A. Bovet, BONE Structure's innovative concept disrupts traditional construction methods across Canada, and now, making inroads in the US market, starting in California.
"Everything that surrounds you has evolved through innovation. Your cell phone is now a smart phone, your car is now a computer on wheels, your news comes from social media and your newspaper is an iPad. The housing industry can't afford to ignore innovation or stay in a denial mode based on the saying – we've always done it that way! Simply because the consumers are fed up and they want their money's worth!" Our patented steel structure technology is one solution that offers a healthy, sustainable, eco-responsible, home sweet home.
– Marc A. Bovet
Founder|CEO of BONE Structure
The BONE Structure technology, patented in 42 countries, was inspired from a combination of LEGO® and Meccano® - pieces are simply snapped together. The lightweight, galvanized recycled steel frame enables homeowners a beautiful and reconfigurable open-space concept, with floor to ceiling windows and without intermediate beams or interior load-bearing walls. Electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation systems are easily connected thanks to precut openings acting as veritable "highways" within the steel structure, just like an airplane fuselage.
"BONE Structure is to the construction industry what Tesla is to the automotive industry, a true innovation, a game changer!"
– Guy Lever
1st BONE Structure homeowner in Whistler
Each custom tailor-made building has a specific number of screws and parts, taking the guesswork out of ordering, and thus eliminating any unwanted budget increases or material waste. BONE Structure clients know exactly what they get and how much it costs. Not only is the end result aesthetically remarkable and sustainable, but the assembly process itself is efficient, economical and environmentally friendly. BONE Structure zeroes in on high performance all around. The integrated shell is designed to ensure unparalleled comfort for all seasons and can make you save up to 90% in heating and cooling costs, while striving to use the best available non-toxic materials.
