Whitemud Resources Announces Supply of Concrete Additive to Massachusetts

CALGARY, April 8 /CNW/ - Whitemud Resources Inc. ("Whitemud" or the "Company") (WMK - TSXV) is pleased to announce they are supplying Whitemud(MK) to a Power Plant Project in Massachusetts.
As part of a concrete subcontract to general contractor, Kiewit Corporation, Whitemud is supplying metakaolin for use in the Brayton Point Station Cooling Towers Project in Somerset, Massachusetts. The project includes the construction of two 500-foot tall concrete cooling towers that will be used to cool process water from the Brayton Point Power Station, owned by Dominion Energy, Inc.
Supply of metakaolin from Whitemud of Calgary, Canada began late in 2009. In total, approximately 1,600 tonnes of Whitemud's metakaolin, branded as Whitemud(MK), will be used in concrete specially designed for the project to withstand severe service conditions associated with cooling hot sea water.
Whitemud Resources Inc. is a Canadian-based corporation that is exploiting a large kaolin deposit in southern Saskatchewan.
