Win $10,000 and Desjardins General Insurance Will Donate $10,000 to a
Charitable Organization

LÉVIS, QC, Sept. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - There are just two months left to enter to win a grand prize of $10,000 with the "Win for You - Win for Your Cause" contest run by Desjardins General Insurance (DGI). In addition to signing over a $10,000 cheque to the winner, Desjardins General Insurance will also donate an equivalent amount to the charitable organization of the winner's choice. What a great way to top up your account and do your part for the community!

It's easy to enter: simply request an auto or home insurance quote from DGI or submit the expiry date of your current policy, by November 30, 2010. Anyone who is already a Desjardins General Insurance policyholder with an auto or home insurance policy in force on November 30, 2010, will automatically be entered in the contest. The contest draw will take place on December 9.

On July 9, DGI announced the five winners of the secondary prizes of $1,000 each. All five winners also picked a charitable organization to receive a $1,000 donation from Desjardins General Insurance. Clément King of Montréal chose UNICEF, Claire Goupil of St-Romuald chose the Fondation de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis, Dominic Portelance of St-Hippolyte chose the SPCA, Jacques St-Arnault of Montréal chose the Fondation de l'Hôpital St-Jérôme and Jocelyn Houle of Saint-Nicéphore chose the Cancer Research Society.

By making a donation equivalent to the prizes received by the contest winners, Desjardins General Insurance provides an inspiring reminder of how we are cooperating in building the future.
