WINDSOR, ON, June 10, 2015 /CNW/ - During the early evening of April 15th, 2015 Windsor RCMP investigators executed search warrants at a residence on Princess Street in Leamington, ON. As a result; two Leamington residents were arrested and face criminal charges for Conspiracy to Import Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Windsor RCMP investigators executed search warrants as a part of an ongoing investigation into a criminal organization believed responsible for importing drugs into Canada. As a result of the investigation; police seized approximately 1.9kg of cocaine, mobile communication devices, electronic devices and documentary evidence.
David Neufeld LOEWEN (54) and Cornelius WIEBE (52), both of Leamington are charged with Conspiracy to Import Cocaine, Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. Both men remain in custody.
The Windsor RCMP continue to pursue their investigation into the criminal enterprise believed responsible.
