Renowned DTM driver and native Montrealer Bruno Spengler returns to celebrate his recent DTM Championship at the Montreal International Auto Show.
RICHMOND HILL, ON, Jan. 14, 2013 /CNW/ - Bruno Spengler will join BMW Group Canada at this year's Montreal International Auto Show to help welcome the new premieres, as well as to commerorate his recent DTM Drivers' Championship. After a nearly 20 year hiatus from DTM, BMW Motorsport returned with great success, thanks in large part to Spengler and his teammates, claiming the drivers', manufacturers' and team titles. The 29 year-old Spengler has been active in DTM racing since 2005, and hopes to continue the success he had during the 2012 season.
This year, BMW Group Canada - the leading premium auto manufacturer brand in Canada - will unveil several new vehicles at the Montreal International Auto Show. On display will be the updated BMW Z4 roadster equipped with the new Hyper Orange design package, M Sport package as well as all of the features of the ConnectedDrive operating system. The all-new 3 Series Diesel will also be on display and is the only diesel in its class, providing the best fuel efficiency available. Also on display will be the BMW ActiveHybrid 7.
The event marks an important day for MINI also as the all-new MINI John Cooper Works Paceman will be shown for the first time in Canada as well.
