Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. Appoints New Vice President of Business

CALGARY, Nov. 15 /CNW/ - Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. (WAA) is pleased to welcome Pascal Bélanger to their team as Vice President of Business Development.

With over 10 years of experience at the senior executive level in the travel and tourism industries, Pascal has a proven record of making business improvements everywhere he works. Having recently held the position of President & Chief Operating Officer at Aéroport de Québec Inc., he brings a wealth of airport industry knowledge.
Fully fluent in French and English, Pascal has attended numerous international conferences and training seminars to broaden his knowledge and hone his management skills. In 2008 he received his designation as Chartered Director from McMaster University. In addition to his professional experience and educational background, he is an avid traveller and holds a Commercial Pilot's License. Pascal begins his new role with WAA on November 15, 2010.
Winnipeg Airports Authority is a non-share capital corporation responsible for the management and operation of Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport and affiliate businesses. All surplus revenue over expenses is reinvested by WAA back into the community, primarily through airport development projects. WAA is self sufficient with taxpayers not directly involved in financing airport site redevelopment which is being paid through Airport Improvement Fees (AIF).
