MONTREAL, Nov. 6, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Following the unveiling of the Winter Classic jerseys this afternoon, the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation is proud to announce an exclusive opportunity that will please P.K. Subban fans as well as those who care for child health.
Subban, Montreal Canadiens' star defenceman and spokesperson of the Montreal Children's Hospital, has set aside a limited number of his no 76 Winter Classic jerseys that he will autograph on November 29th. 100% of the profits will go to P.K.'s Helping Hand, a fund to assist vulnerable families at the Children's who are financially devastated by a child's illness. These jerseys will be the only Winter Classic jerseys signed by P.K. Subban.
Jerseys go on sale on November 12th. Quantities are limited so they will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Find out more at pkjersey.com.
The jersey signing will be held in the P.K. Subban Atrium at the Montreal Children's Hospital on November 29th in what is expected to become a happening. Attendees will also have the opportunity to buy a P.K. Subban tuque that will be given to a sick child at the hospital.
The annual Winter Classic outdoor regular season hockey game is widely considered one of the NHL's premier events. This year's game promises to be particularly exciting, as longtime rivals Montreal and Boston face off on January 1 in Boston.
