Wirecomm Systems (2008) Inc. and Unifor Local 5011 agree on new collective agreement - Minister Leitch congratulates both parties Français
OTTAWA, June 30, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated Wirecomm Systems (2008) Inc. and Unifor Local 5011 on the renewal of their collective agreement.
The agreement was reached with assistance from the Labour Program's Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). The FMCS provides dispute resolution and dispute prevention assistance to trade unions and employers under the jurisdiction of the Canada Labour Code.

- Wirecomm Systems (2008) Inc. is a subcontractor of Rogers Communications.
- The collective agreement, covering approximately 185 employees, including technicians, working at Mississauga, Barrie and York Region locations in Ontario, expired on August 11, 2014.
